The Hayes Four Seasons Terrace Café has recently undergone a complete refurbishment, from the décor right through to the menus and the working practices. Along with everyone else the COVID pandemic saw us having to re-think the way we could keep customers safe. This resulted in the old system of self-service being dropped and table service being introduced. 

The new décor is jungle based and we have introduced high-backed banquette seating separated by troughs of greenery, not only providing a safe dining experience but also a greater degree of privacy. The old stained glass interior panels have been replaced by display boxes where we can show off our produce.

Here at Hayes sustainability and environmentally sound practices are two of our top priorities so our menu has been overhauled to be more seasonal with dishes based on local produce. Taking on board more local producers has reduced our food miles and consequently our carbon footprint. The menu also reflects the changing tastes of our customers with additional lighter and vegetarian dishes alongside the more traditional offerings. 

Our famous scones and home-bakes are still on the menu and are joined by ice-cream sundaes and desserts. Breakfast offers a choice ranging from a hearty traditional English breakfast to lighter sausage or bacon and maple rolls. Lunch has something for all appetites, from a light panini or soup to a full meal and now we can offer a glass of wine or a beer to accompany the food. 

Children are not forgotten, many of the lunch dishes are available as children sized portions or you can just have a kiddies lunch box. Your pooch is even catered for as we now offer a selection of doggy treats.
